Artists' Film Programme at MK Gallery

'My Body Lying in the Heather' is a programme of artists films designed to coincide with the fabled alignment of the sun in Milton Keynes on Midsummers Day. Running from 07 - 27 June in MK Gallery Video Space it includes works by Kim Coleman & Jenny Hogarth, Duncan Marquiss (pictured), Sarah Pucill and Lucy Reynolds.

Laure Prouvost at The Hepworth & Treasurer's House

Laure Prouvost at The Hepworth & Treasurer's House

This summer Laure Prouvost will present work developed during her residency at National Trust property Treasurer's House onsite and at The Hepworth Wakefield.


This will include the premiere of the third part of her FLAMIN commissioned film The Wanderer and a number of new site specific works for Treasurer's House. On 19 July 2012 Prouvost will be joined by Rory McBeth for a performance at The Hepworth Wakefield.


The exhibition will run across both sites from 30 June - 19 July 2012.

Hepworth Wakefield and 'The Residents'

Laure Prouvost will now be working in with The Hepworth Wakefield to present her work produced while the artist was in residence at Treasurer's House, York in 2011. Laure will present a live performance at the gallery on 19 July 2012 with more dates and events tbc.

Support Structure Weekend in Nottingham

Support Structure Weekend in Nottingham

Over the weekend 24-26 February 2012 Support Stucture (Gavin Wade and Celine Condorelli) presented work from their residency at Clumber Park onsite and at Nottingham Contemporary. This was an opportunity to present themes and ideas resulting from the residency programme and launch the publication of Support Structure's proposals for the future of Clumber Park. The weekend included a temporary installation, panel discussion and film screenings from The Space at Nottingham Contemporary and a walking tour/ performance from Support Structure around Clumber.

Now Available: Community without Propinquity Publication

Community Without Propinquity is edited by Inheritance Projects and was co-published by AND Publishing and MK Gallery in 2011.


It investigates and attempts to challenge concepts of community in the context of New Towns with a specific focus on the planning and development of Milton Keynes in the UK. Community without Propinquity includes contributions from Melissa Butcher, Céline Condorelli and Emma Hedditch.
